Default Cam Only Shift Point???

Goin back to track Saturday night and wanted to try a few different thing to get me in to the 7's & 9's(1000ft)

My cam is a:
232/239 .475"/.490" 112 lsa (stock lift w/ 1.6)

When I shifted at 6300-6400rpm I went:
1.92
5.25
8.01 @ 89.48
10.36 @ 105.34(1000ft)

Then I was at the track once and my O2 sensor went out, Anything over 5000 rpm it would spit and sputter, so...
When I was shifting at 4500-5000rpm I went:
1.90
5.34
8.20 @ 86.82
10.49 @ 98.08(1000ft)

So what Im asking is should I lower my shift points to 6000?
I have STOCK lift with a much larger Duration.. I know gettin a dyno will tell me everything but im goin to track this sat.. Its TNT so I can try it but what do you think??

90mph is pretty healthy sounds like you're on the right track with that shift point

Hmm I couldn't tell you those specs really throw me a curve ball lol. I say just play around with it and see what works best. Your trap speed looks good so if your not dead on your really close!

Yeah no joke, who does that? Huge duration and stock lift?

LT's like low duration / high lift, but whatever floats your boat.

Just experiment by watching trap speed and see where it likes to be shifted.

Me, and every other Stock Eliminator racer! IMO the OP's cam is a big cam (as far as lift goes). Stock is .449/.460.

Is that because of class restrictions Gizmo?

I never said it wouldn't make power, just that it goes against the grain.

I like being different too though, one reason I ground my own XFI stick.

Well with no head or intake work it seem to do pretty well.. I dont feel the need to go with a huge lift on stock porting, I know the stock heads can handle more but oh well.. Stock lift has surprised me! HAHA...

OTHER GUY-What kind of cam you got in that thing??

ME-Ahh its just a stock lift cam..

OTHER GUY-
I get that all the time...lol
