500 easy miles. FWIW I just reached 4k miles on my stock replacement clutch and already it's starting to slip bad. So be careful with hard launches!

You need to take it easy until you get a stronger clutch! LOL Seriously though as said the stock clutch won't put up with hard launches for long.

just get some really cheap non-sticky tires and practice your powerslides then when the tires are gone the clutch will be good to go!

OP

stock clutch should work fine with the mods in your sig. 500 mi of "normal" driving before you beat on it.

riceburner

a stock clutch with your sig mods would start to slip....move up

Well I live in colorado springs, so im losing some power, and iv still got 3.23's for now with a weak posi. So even my old clutch never slipped, it just broke in half lol. But it was still the clutch that was in the car from the factory and the disc looked like **** compared to the new one, they wer totally different designs and the new one looked beefy. Im probubly only making 30x at the wheels, do you still think it could slip? I will upgrade the clutch when i do a bigger cam and some 3.73's next summer or maby even this winter. I'm just broke, the disc and 80 grit sandpaper came to 70 bucks, so i had to do it to get on the road.

I just realized I dident give you guys the story. It broke hitting third at 70, it wouldent go into 4th and it was because the metal disc broke in half packing the disc material into the pressure plate and seizing the cluth together. When I got it all apart everything was ok but the disc, the flywheel and pressure plate are nica and flat and had minimal burning and no pitting. So all I did was buy a new disc, and take some 80 grit paper and a DA to the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces. I then used a block sander and some more 80 grit to give them both a nice cross hatch pattern like they have new.

I know alot of you are probubly laughing, but I have 4 bucks to my name, I'm a mechanic, and I sold my other daily driver just so I could keep this car. The clutch feels nice and smooth so far.

Just drive around on a good mix of roads for about 500 miles, as stated before.
