Default Another LE thread ;)

So I have a 94 LT1 with an rebuilt A4. It has LPE CAI, shift kit, catback and mail order tune via PCMforless. I have a few questions...

I am going to get the LE2 package next month and I talked to Lloyd but unfortunately I couldn't write EVERYTHING down and I want to start ordering stuff....so I need some help.

I'm am going to get a Yank SS stall...but should I get the 3600 or 4000?
What injectors should I get? size and brand ect.
What brand roller rockers should I get?
What headers and Y pipe (brand and size) should I get? Pacesetters are like half price...why? Is it worth it to get better ones?
Will I need a new fuel pump? (car has 110,000)
What rear end should I get? 12 bolt...but what kind?
Is a 58MM TB nessessary when only running 380-390 to the wheels? (Llyod said I could go without)
Also is there anything else I might need to support this?

I have 3500 to spend this winter on the car...so I do have a budget and am looking for deals

If at all possible please put a link to stuff that I can look and do some shopping

Thanks everyone for any/all replies

Need alot more info. Stock discplacement? What's goals what's the cam grind he's giving you. That will determine rockers. I'd deff go with 58 mm tb. More air more power let me kbow. All specs. Also what gears tire size

How good are you at doin things yourself? 3500 wont even cover the cost of parts with the rear end

$3500 will only cover the heads/cam + rest of valvetrain + gaskets + TB + fuel pump + injectors. If you don't do your own work then figure another $1500 or so. This stuff adds up and ends up costing alot more than it seems like at first. Your going to need another $4000 just to cover the rear, converter, and longtubes + y-pipe.

I would finish up the bolt-ons (stall, long tubes, y-pipe, TB, RR's etc) and then save for the LE package. The rear can wait until you break yours.

umm im running my numbers with a stock TB. i have Delphi 37# injectors, Strange 12 bolt over Moser (torque arm bolts are better) i have Pacesetters (they work fine if your on a budget). but as AC said, you wont even get a 12bolt new for 3500

You can email or PM Lloyd if you need a copy of his list.
I'm sure he'd be more than happy to type it for you.

Here's link to my parts list from my LE H/C project a few years back.
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2297151/4

$3500 won't get you very far.
If you're not in a hurry, you can sit back and wait for the items you need
to come up for sale used at a price you are willing to pay. Just keep checking
them off your list as you find them. It worked out well for a friend I recently
guided though a similar build.

I tried a 3200 stall, I wasn't happy with it so I upgraded to a Yank SS4000.
I was much happier with it. If you call Yank, they'll help you get exactly what you need.

You'll need at least 30# injectors, preferably 36#.
You can usually pick up SVO or Racetronix injectors pretty cheap in the forsale section.

I'm a big fan of Comp's ProMagnum rockers, but you have to modify the valve covers to clear them.
Don't use junk here, you'll regret it later.
Again, forsale section will usually yeild a decent savings if you want to go used.

You'll want a set of Long-Tube headers if you can get away with it.
Hooker and Pacesetter make less expensive ones, Kooks makes an awesome set of stainless ones.
Off-road Y-pipes can be fabbed up by your local muffler shop if you want to save money.

Stock fuel pump is fine for a H/C car if it's in good shape.

I prefer the S60 over the 12bolt, but both are good choices.
The stock rear end will eventually give out on you. I got a few seasons out of mine.

A 58mm is something you can install later, have Lloyd port your manifold so it's an easy swap later.
I see 52 and 58mm for sale all the time.
A stock TB won't choke you too bad in the mean time.

Don't forget that you will need an updated tune.

1) go with the ss3600 if you want some street manners.
2) green top 42lb injectors(svo) or contact fci injectors(sponsor--->)
3) Comp high tech stainless 1.6's(they are not cheap, but worth it imo)
4) Pacesetter coated w/ y, great header for the money.(lpp's if they ever come out)
5) racetronix fuel pump kit, hands down the most hassle free fp kit on the market!
6) the professional products 58mm is nice for the $, but the stocker will do fine on a 350
7) Imo get a moser 9", it's alot better rear than the 12bolt plain and simple!

Btw you will have more then 3500.00 into the le2 package and rearend, let alone the rest of your list. You better start refiguring your budget...

wow, massive response!!! lol

ok, the work will be done in my dads shop and a few of my/his friends so I dont have to pay for labor.

This is a project, I have a lot of time to get this done so I want to make sure it gets done right. I was told by Llyod it can be done for under 3K so I said 3500 to be safe. I can always save and put more into it if needed (its a long cold winter in wisconsin )

Anyways, should I just get the stall, headers and gears? (I dont wanna do RR's because if the motor is apart we are just gonna send the heads to LE)

As for the goals....somewhere around 400WHP...but I have allll kinds of time to get there.
Also I have C6 Motorsport wheels (10.5' rear tires)
