Hasn't really run the quarter again since that run but he's cutting consistant 1.5x's on his new MTs.

BTW, this is a light diet car(!rear seat, !AC, !sway bar) and his suspension is BONE *** STOCK. Stock everything. Seriously the car just rolls.

yea man i dn thats very stout times but not crazy impressive. i run low 12.40's and im bolton only. bone stock suspension, bone stock gears. 109mph. agian def stout times. but nothing crazy impressive. if i was gonna do a cam only car i would make sure it ran in the 11's

He was talking about my car. Like I said early it went 12.08 @ 112 in 2700' DA. November 4th is the next chance I will have at a 1/4mi track and I hope to see some low 11.90's out of it. The car weighs 3500lbs with me in it, far from a light weight.

Yea it does alright for a cc503 cam. Should be going to 3.73s in an S60 this winter. Hopefully that will pick it up some.

Dang maybe the 12.70s i had in mind with the cc503, ported intake and stock stall with 4.10s is a lil conservative. The car runs 13.0s with bolt ons and street tires. I wish it would run some mid 12s when i get it back together. I know it would with a stall.

7. Change your intake for the 1996-97 intake (12552138).
Just wondering what makes the 96-97 intake better than the earlier years???

The reason the 19lb SVO's pick up some is that ford injectors are actually rated at a lower psi.....35 as opposed to 45 IIRC....That way when you put them into a stock GM fuel system they're actually putting out more than the rated 19 LB/HR. A lot of guys can go to the 24 SVO's and run wilder than the stock GM 24 lbers.....The real fun comes when you get into the bigger numbers and jack the hell out of the pressure.....

This was more meant more as useless info than anything else......
