Thanks ... it's just another slow bolt-on car so I had to at least make it look purdy

not sure but all that I took out was the seats and carpet. All supports and hvac were still installed so it wasn't too light

When the 4th gen first came out i was living in H-TOWN there were some stockers running 14.1-14.3 then found out that they had 2.73s however the 3.23 cars were running 13.7-13.9 STOCK since not much was available yet! When parts came out it was NOT uncommon to see high 12s at all....
93 TA,6spd,chip,longtubes,catback,CAI and M&H racemasters was bustin off 12.7s fastest pass i saw a slip for was 12.60@110. again HRP great DA.

I have typical mods, no EWP, full weight m6 car and the fastest i have been due to the autozone killer OE clutch i had was 13.35@105 NA w/DA of 3000'

as far as Ls1s i have seen lid, stall and tire go 12.7 here in vegas due to our DA we are normally 3-7 tenths away from sea-level ETs

It IS addicting, especially when you live 6000ft above frickin sea level and there's no air to start with. A little "altitude correction in a bottle" as I affectionately call it is just the fix.

The quickest being 13.3.

As for the topic, of course an LT1 can hit 12's bolt-on only. I'm only suprised more guys don't do it. Too many guys running low 13's with bolt-ons. Must be missing the final piece or something.
This thread came back from the grave!! Demon 383, can you give me any more info on your Sebring Silver 97 SS M6? I got mine this year and seeing as how there were only 176 built (with t-tops...just over 200 total) I have often wondered if I'd run across the old owner on here.

Anyway, It's great reading you ran those times stock with it, as well as everyone else's results listed here.

I wouldn't keep arguing or even talking about it.. I have seen LT1 cars prove themselves many times..
