Things to avoid in a CAI:
Cheap paper filters, such as Emgo
Filter still in engine compartment, since that is not really "cold air"

I used a K&N Filtercharger. It had a K&N oiled filter (surprise) and got its air from the driver's side fenderwell. Moroso's unit did also, although it looked slightly different.

Lingenfelter for $159. Been the same price for years, none of this $300 CAI crap...biggest filter element on the market.

nope, there's not going to be much of a difference between CAIs...just get a K&N, Morosso, lingenfelter, or SLP unit and you'll be good. I'd steer clear of those ebay kits, they look tacky all chromed up and yet plain looking...many of them actually have the filter right next to the radiator(hot air intake???)...cant go wrong with any of those major brands listed above.

The k&n is a bitch to get the filter on and likes to fall off unless you tq it to 250ftlbs lol. Go with the lpe or moroso imo.
