theoretically it might be very dangerous. but im dead serious. i did it in the rocks all alone with my mom within ear shot. or if i knew i was gonna do something extremely dangerous i would call her down in the backyard just in case. but no if you do it right. i would honestly use the than anything else. has anyone ever seen 3k lbs. on a happy hooker 4 ft in the air and the chain break? oh btw its your beloved f-body??? not a good day at all. just throwing my 2 pennies. i had the car sitting up high enough that the entire k-member and all just rolled out with no problem at all. while i had my 17x9 ZR1s on it. and when your poor and cant afford big toys. you do what you have to, to satisfy your needs.

Yeah, I know. I just didn't see anyone bench pressing anything in the reenactment, and was kind of curious why the guy might have said that. I guess it never hurts to live next door to a strongman, unless you're a jacka$$.

Ya think?
A car battery being used as a jackstand? Might as well stilt a couple 4X4's under there as well. ![Icon Lol](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_lol.gif)
It's a rod knock. Noise is being produced twice as fast as the valve train in those vids.

Firstly its a rod knock for sure. pull that engine
Here is how you need to do it, very easy, place wheels under the rear tires and use the hoist to lift the body and pull the engine, trans with exhuast, k member and all suspension, it can be done in less than 3 hrs.....
hoist, 2 wheels, various wrenches and sockets=done
