Default I have a optispark question??????
Alright figured out that my optispark is going bad. If it would be the whole distributor would the car start and go? Or would the the car just wouldn't start?? Cause my car starts up and goes but sometimes when I go 2 a stop my car turns off. Could I just replace the cap aand the problem go away??? And would it be hard 2 change out the cap?

i would just replace the whole thing. its usually the opti sensor that goes bad. not syaing it couldnt be the cap but i would just replace the whole thing with a GM unit. and give the car a test start before you put on the waterpump and everything to make sure it actually fixed your problem

mines doing the same thing, is yours braking up when u get on it?????

It starts up ok but when i come up 2 a stop the car turns off. Then i gotta turn the car on but then the car hesitates 2 go. But it drives good on the highway and stuff.

dont sound like fuel sounds like opti, im have the same problem on the high way runs good. is it popping??????

dude just buy the whole thing, its a fairly easy straight forward job. Go get a manual and do exactly what it tells you. I did it myself its just a time consuming job thats about it
