Copper head gasket or what? Looking a few months ahead, 383 running 12ish:1 Compression with a lot of spray. What head gaskets to use on a Non O-ringed Head. I was thinking copper but what other options are there? Ive heard of Cosmetic gaskets leaking coolant. Any suggestions?

I just hate to send the heads off(cause on one around here has the machinary to do it) and oring the heads and block to run wire. Im hoping a good soft copper gasket will seal. Thing of copper it wont blow but they are sometimes hard to seal.

My cometics never leaked. I will likely be going back with another set of cometics with the new setup.
On the stock gaskets...no sir. Mine were wasted after about 10 hits on the 200 shot.
