new PB...sooo close to the 9's
I drove the car over an hour to the track yesterday in with hopes for a 9.99 pass.
150 shot
110/93 in fuel tank
116 in dedicated
20 degrees of total timing
11.8-12.0 A/F
275/60/15 M/T radials
1st pass
1.32 60 ft
10.07
131 mph
The car wheelied pretty good and just bumped the limiter on the 1-2 shift which is 7300 ( window switch @ 7100 )
2nd pass NPB
1.34 60ft .. big wheelie and people said I set the front end down after the 60ft marker
10.05
132 mph
bumped limiter on the 1-2 shift again, so it was no fluke
I then got Jim ( our tuner ) to lower the 1-2 shift, put 2 degrees of timing in and added a touch fuel at the dedicated. There was a delay due to a clean up and the sun went down and the track went away.... so I spun and just went home
I had a great day and still very happy with the car. The air was 500-1000 for the day. The converter seems to be a little too loose, so over winter I'm going to make a few small changes to better the current combo.

thanks guys
The window switch was only at 4100, so there is still more it it. I feared going on the bumper though without having my limiters on yet.
I think fixing the 1-2 shift and the 2 degrees of timing would have done the trick, but who knows.
this weekend I'm not racing, but if weather works I may try 1 more time

about 3400# in full street trim as raced ( 4" catback on and pass seat in place )
We actually had a decent head wind yesterday, so that didn't help at all.
thanks for the props guys

thanks
I am going to go out if the weather works with me the 14th or 15th.
The car will sit the same in full street trim and go for a 9 sec. pass. I know the car has it in it as it sits. The exhaust off and seat out will do it, but it just takes away from working harder at a goal.
I should see better air here too which will help and just need the track to work well again.
I am going to get my limiters on and hope to hook well, keep the front end down. The window switch at ON @ 4100 leaves some ET still on the table.
The video I kept pausing and going frame for frame today and the front tires hit ground just after the 60ft on the 10.05 / 1.34 60ft pass.

Dang, I weighed my car yesterday at the seed house, with no driver its @ 3475lbs...damn pig..I think it needs a diet this winter.
