Default What did you pay for your 383 rotating assembly?

What did you pay for your LT1 383 rotating assembly? Please add the manufacturer. I'm trying to get average prices from what people actually paid for the crank, rods and pistons/rings. Thanks. Bob

I am about to build a 406 GEN1 for a guy and have been pricing these. Summit has them for $1800, its an Eagle kit. 4340 forged, H beams and forged pistons.

lookin at cnc motorsports 383 kits. compstar crank and rods. some different piston choices. just under $2000

One I had built was a callies crank, mahle lightweight pistons and rods all forged for $2100 but also came with bearings for crank and rods too.

Eagle 6.00" Rods with ARP2000 Bolts
Wiseco -13cc Pistons 4.030" Bore, 6.00" Rods, 3.75" Stroke
Wiseco matched rings

Balancing - $150 (0 slugs)

I got mine from Competiton Products Howards Tracksmart 4340 non twist crank, 6" Howards 4340 forged H beam rods, Mahle forged piston kit $1900

Ohio 4340 H-Beams w/ ARP 2000 Cap Screws- $369
Keith Black Forged Pistons - $323
Rings (Moly top ring)- $98
Balancing - $150

Sub Total = $1415

Professional Products SFI 29.1 approved balancer - $177
TCI SFI 29.1 Flexplate - $99.95

Total = $1691.95

We used Eagle at one time, our machine shop found the crankshaft was bent. If you go Eagle, have it checked out. Bob

JE custom nitrous pistons gas ported and buttons vs spirolox-1100

rings were C&A- I think they were like 200-250?
