Default Dumb question but, does 94 Z/28s have Traction Control?

I went up against a GT stang last night and midway through the race my LOW TRAC light and BRAKE light came on and started flashing. It stayed on and flashed for about 10 minutes then went off. I didnt think the car has traction control? but ive been wrong before...

Sounds like there might be something wrong with your ABS system then. I would look into it and make sure everything is A OK. Brakes are pretty important....

LOW TRAC is the light that comes on when the car thinks you're loosing traction and it applies the ABS brakes. Why the brake light came on i'm not sure but i used to have a problem with mine years ago when coming to a stop and applying the brakes under 5mph. the LOW TRAC would come on and the brake pedal would get hard and then jump almost to the floor and pop back up. after doing this 3 times the ABS INOP would come no and stay on until i shut off the car and restated it. it ended up fixing itself after i got a new set of pads and rotors all the way around.

don't know if your car is having the same issue since i don't recall seing the BRAKE light come on.

Hmmm, idk then. My ABS INOP light is on due to the SS spoiler that I still need to wire up, but I plan on deleting the ABS soon anyways with a line lock. Gonna drive the car later this week, Ill see if it still is doing it. So far the lights been off

If you dont have a big *** black box above the driver side valve cover you dont have traction control. The Low trac light has to do with the ABS system i believe. Your wheel sensors could also be messed up

i thought one of my wheel sensors was messed up because during the whole abs issue thing i had a blowout on the right front and after that the abs worked fine for a solid month. i thought maybe something was dirty and in the process of having the blowout or changing the tire i knocked something back into place. i had the shop that did my tuneup check the sensors and he caleld me to say the sensors looked fine and before spending $350+ on a new hub i should get the brake rotors and pads changed since they needed it and there was a good chance that would solve the problem which it did.
