Found out i am retarded Well take a guess who thought it was a good idea to accidently knock off the power cable to a laptop with a bad battery in the middle of messing with the pcm. As soon as it happened he of course started banging his head on the steering wheel because he knew exactly what happened. So who should i send it off to, to be repaired because right now i am driving a car with no insurance as i wasn't expecting to use it in the near future. Knowing my luck even with a clean driving record i am suddenly gonna get pulled over in the 6 years ive been driving because fate knows i am screwed. Someone near my state would be great would cut on down time as it would proably spend most of its time going back and forth in a mail truck.

Hopefully not dead even with my discount at work thats still some money. Then again i am probably just being cheap i can drop a load on performance parts but wont change the wiper blades, woot! just smearing the water.

ahahha at the wiper blades, I dumped 15k in the car and it needed wipers for 3 years (since I bought it) I finally got some this summer a long with flushing the heater core lol.

I don't know if it's just the area I live in or what, but I've never had luck calling a dealer and asking the service manager whether or not they can reflash a PCM. The dumbfounded looks I received were overwhelmingly frustrating.

Same thing happens to me I asked them about fixing my speedo after a gear swap they all insisted I needed the tranny gear lol.
Yeah it seems like some dealers just want to stick to the old oil change and brakes but most (if they are comfident) can either reflash it in house or send it in to get it done.
