i have been trying to get back on the car for 2 years now. original plan was to take a year off to get my house completed but 30 other projects have popped up since then. one of which is a friends YSI equipped LT1 car. it should be out this year.
so back to my car, i sold the heads off of it and sold the rear out of it. the 31 spline axles were twisting, so i decided to sell the housing/axles/spool before they were trashed, and upgrade to 35/40 splines. so now i have a fabbed rear kit that i need to weld up, which still needs new axles, spool, and a different aluminum center. (the one i had was for 31-33 spline axles only)
i decided to sell the heads to either move to something larger than 200cc or pull the plug altogether on the LT1 and put my turbo motor in there. (been sitting in the shop now for about 9 years. lol)
its starting to look pretty good moneywise lately, and this years resolution was to do some racing before the year ends. who knows, maybe ill just throw a stock set of heads on there and get at it. if i put some nice heads on it, pull a little weight, and turn on the 2nd kit it should be dancing all over an 8.99 pass. last time out it was running 6.0x every pass in the 1/8 with a 150 shot on the 275s.
