Default 396 build

Ill be having a 396 LT1 built when i go to Iraq in 2 months. it will be nitrous fed (up to a 300 shot) and im worried about block strength. what are guys like Tanner and Tony Shepard (not meaning to leave anyone out but those are the first 2 that came to mind) using to ensure that this wont be an issue?

cola or callies crank, my recommendation is just to stay away from the chinese ****. Iraq is the perfect way to build a badass motor, I did it!

Half filled stock block, magnafluxed, sonic checked, 4 bolt billet main splayed with billet front cap and rear strap. I run a Cola forged 3.875 crank with Lunati billet 5.85' rods, JE custom nitrous pistons.

Before I get asked the goals are 10.5x on motor and 9.5x on spray. I'll be going with a fast xfi setup so I can spin higher then 7k if needed and switch between tunes for n/a and spray. I'll have a single plane on it with an elbow as well. Heads and intake will be potted by ai or le

There is a thread about the TFS 21 heads and no one has really posted results. I would search for it.

Im working on a similar setup. I poured roughly 2 inches of Hard block in the bottom and Oliver 4bolt splay caps with studs. im gonna try the chinees **** in mine, Eagle 4340 Crank and H beam rods. going with Probe pistions with JE nitrous rings. LT1 TEA ported heads and a SR cam.

not really looking for something just being developed, id rather have something with proven results from more than one person.
