Finally received the TPIS 58MM TB, had to wait a couple months to get one without the grey anodizing. Why they would not want to offer this thing as a regular option is beyond me, but I got what I wanted !
This thing is gorgeous, work of art. It uses a roller bearing design which is flawless in movement. Aluminum machined IAC housing and many other nice little items. If anyone is considering purchasing a 52mm or 58mm, you need to look into the TPIS units. They are well worth the money....

One simple thing, Roller bearing design on the shaft instead of being bronze bushed like most aftermarket unit. There are some other simple things, (billet IAC housing, throttle cam (black anodized billet), etc). Overall quality of this unit is probably not matched by any other MFG; except AZ's TB's maybe.
Just to be clear, I'm not saying this is any better than what you have or want. I personally like the unit, and whatever works for you is just fine. JMO

They sell the IAC housing separate, but it will be (grey anodized) unless you want to wait for a couple of months the get one before they put the anodizing on the unit. I believe it will work on other TB's, but don't quote me. I would just call TPIS, just ask for Clay.

I seem to recall the Arizona Speed & Marine throttle body shaft to be supported by bushings and not bearings. This detail used to be on their website, but I couldn't find it today.

I like the air foil on it, I love the PP 58 mm i bought but i dont like that there was not a better air foil on it or at least the option to put on on. But there is no way to get one on

Appears that TPiS does make a mono-blade. Go to their website, download their catalog, and look for part number 1.TB170 (bottom of page 5).
I'm looking to pick up a 58mm throttle body and can't decide between TPiS or Arizona Speed and Marine. Both look like killer pieces, but the anodizing on the TPiS unit is growing on me and it's a few bucks cheaper than the ASM.
