Butch, e-mailed Lloyd and asked some questions, and as usual was quick to reply and be very helpful. One other question though, what size pushrods, width and length? Thanks, Rick.

Edit: Can't remember, you have a roll bar in the car?

If I recall, .080" wall,5/16",7.800". It all comes down to how much your heads will be shaved.

Has your bottom end ever had the rodbolts or main bolts swapped over to arps? Or they completely stone stock as from the factory?

In this game, hobby, whatever you wanna call it, you gotta' spend some to go fast. I have four kids and their welfare and education comes first. So, it's hard. You gotta' have a balance, and still have fun.

This Shortblock is factory BONE STOCK.

Thanks for all the compliments. I'm having FUN!

And now your talking about my car (needing to catch up). I can't believe all the cars this year that have set a new PB. It's good to see and hopefully this trend continues next year for all us LT1 owners.

Brian, starting this Winter you will catch up!

Who here in this forum have a complete bone stock LT1, full weight, a4,stock exhaust from the manifold to the tips, stock airbox/ac delco filter, stock everything can run 13.8@99? I think your car is "freaking" fast with no mods whatsoever!

Best of 11.61@116-117 before new top end. That's a whopping gain of 6/10thplus 6 mph

I picked up the valve covers from a local swap meet over the Summer. Don't know the brand name.

Thanks Jeff. I notice, no more stripes on your car's fenders. It looks much better without it IMO.
