Default Changed heads just in time?
Just had heads and cam installed by Mike at Rapid Motorsports & this was old head gasket.

My #7 ring on the head gasket was chewed up! And the motor was still running strong before I pulled them off to port them. I was glad I did though.

Mine was still running good too,but I'm glad its changed

Good to see the car is done. How do you like it and what did she put down? I didn't know Mikey tuned LT1's, that's good to know.

Nice gain over what I had 283rwhp/292rwtq to 341rwhp/321rwtq. I think i'm going to like this. Mike at Rapid did a super job & he is a great guy to deal with. Now all I have to do is wait till about end of April to see what it will do.

That worked out good. It's good to know that he's tuning them again because it's so hard to find capable tuners in the NE for the LT1's it seems. Besides him and Bryan Herter I don't think I'd let anybody around here tune my car.

Same here & Brian is close enough to me to drive to.Mike thinks we might have to back off on shift points to stay 12,but Brian can do that.

What kind of gasket is that? It doesn't look like it has the stainless steel ring around the cylinders?

As far as I know it should have been the original,but I don't think its stainless
