It NEVER affects the 60 1/8 1/4 etc times... Lol

Sure if he's bracket racing it could lose him the race, but wouldn't change the damn times he runs... Damn come on guys

Practice, practice, practice. I have no clue why you are still spinning bad and have wheel hop otherwise. Suspension parts I listed above and practice.

If your still spinning that bad... Practice more.. or just get 275/40/17 MT Et Street Radials, girdle cover, welded axle tubes, gear fluid, and pray for the best

You left out the most important part of fortifying the 10 bolt.

well thats what I figured but every one in the gears and axle section were saying that they break often. and a sponsor even said that I needed to buy some 500.00 dollar DS. So I naturally am worried after hearing that. I can see the LS1 style aluminum ones breaking tho.

Some sponsor is trying to take your money. The lt1 steel drive shaft is a hell of a lot tougher than the ls1 aluminum and even the ls1 ds sure as hell aint gonna break on a 13 sec car!

x2.. its a pretty durable DS... and damn $500 for a DS? I remember the driveshaft for the S60 Dana I was looking at being like $150ish? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. You aren't at the power to worry about it yet

Get your axle tubes welded, and the torque arm for LT setups can also be bought with a DS safety loop from UMI (just for added assurance if you are still worried)

Whats your point? It's kind of retarded to argue it unless he has already swapped.

Besides I know the ls1 drive shafts CAN break on 12sec or even slower cars. I've had pieces of one slung at my windshield from an ls1 I was racing... I wouldnt let that keep me from going to the track though

Talk to Larry at Speedinc regarding 9" driveshafts (i'm biased because I love that guy) or I think Bob @ EPP (they have an option for a DS to go with 9" rears).
