What type of radials? I don't think you are making enough power yet for the rear to go out. But then again, 10 bolts are really a hit and miss. If you are on a budget for the rear, welded axle tubes, a rear girdle cover, and a nice change of gear fluid should help it last a bit longer.

Well if you have longtubes/ory/exhaust/tb stuff like that and still have wheel hop with radials.. I'd recommend upgrading the radials (have you noticed that 275 nittos seem to be smaller than your normal 275/40/17 tire? Seems like that to me)
Nittos are good for street tires as in like they last awhile.. MT Et street radials are good for traction but don't last very long.
What gears on your 9"? sorry if its already listed
As far as suspension I'd recommend rear drag shocks, lower control arm relo brackets, lower control arms, shock tower brace, subframe connectors, QA1 front springs are awesome (but expensive) and a UMI, BMR, Spohn, etc tunnel trace mounted torque arm for LT headers
I'd give larry@speedinc.com an email. He helped me out a lot as far as suspension modifications. Now if only my immediate budget could keep up (most of my money is in investments)
A shock tower brace will not fit due to the SS air box
What PSI were your Nittos on during the run?
Like I said, your rear should be fine on Nittos.. I'd be nervous to jump to ET Street Radials with a t56 though.. but then again I'm too cautious.
I've heard 350rwhp is limit for t56's and 10bolts and 400rwhp is limit for 4l60e but like I said before.. some last on 500rwhp.. some guys break on 275rwhp...
Drop the psi on the Nitto's to 18psi, do some pre-staging. Go through the water box and just do a small brief burnout to get the tires hot and the water off.. and I think most guys launch at low rpm's on t56's 1500rpm-1800rpm? To keep the wheelspin down. Try it at different rpms. Seat experience is the best thing.
I've only been to the track once, so I still got a lot to learn myself! Good luck

Too bad my cars mods couldn't keep up :/ Get that 60 ft down and you'll be cracking 12's!
