Default Quick Question....

Is it normal to run your engine for about five minutes and have the cat turn blaze orange?

It's not uncommon for a cat to start coming apart on the inside and become plugged up. That might be your problem.

Not normal. That's usually indicative of a clogged/plugged cat. Very dangerous.

It's brand new. I started it for the first time today. It's a three hundred dollar Random high flow. Is it running too rich then? Or is it running too lean and too much O2?

Never mind, I think I may have left one O2 sensor unhooked!!! AARRRRRRRGGGGGG!!!!
O'wait, it IS hooked up, I was retraicing my cat "Y" install and only installed one O2 but remembered the other O2 is on the header not the "Y".......Back to my previous question. Too rich or too lean?

i dont think running lean or rich is gonna make the cat glow red. your 100% positive that its not clogged, if it is your gonna have alot more problems if you dont fix it fast
