Its def tuned out cuz I threw a misfire code a while back after he tuned it out...i think he just turned the o2s off cuz there was no reading during the test...maybe its cuz I had it done at firestone?

sucks to be you guys......anything 95 and older doesn't get tested in IL anymore and if you do it's a scanner test, so in stead of deleting the rear o2 sensors, you just put sims in and it solves the problem. As long as the 'puter thinks there are cats, then the emissions guys think there are too......even with huge cams

In CT if all but 2 monitors are set it passes 96-2000.One monitor not set 2001-DATE. It makes no difference where you took the car the test is the same. Is the ses light working on the dash? Does the ecm have a stored code or pending code. If not how did the test station know the tuner tuned out the rear O2 sensors. TOM FALCO CT certified emission inspector. CT is a visual emission state. If the cats are gone you get a fail. Some testers dont look and some do. The inspector is not required to test data output of sensors. If he did that he is in violation of the law. But he can fail you on visual check NO CATS. By the way why would you remove cats ??? They dont reduce HP. In some cases it increases HP. TOM
