Remarkably none! the wide LSA kept the valves away from the pistons. I was running some speed pro 2491f060 pistons with no flycutting. unfortunately i went riding around one weekend and pulled up to the pump and filled it up with 87 octane instead of 93 and forgot to adjust the timing to compensate. about 50 miles later No. 8 piston crown broke.

Oh Yeah! that happened in May of 09. still havent fixed it. but the pistons are on order (again) and as soon as they come in I will buy the rest of the parts top fix the motor and then a 4.30 gearset and turn on the second kit.

In the little motor. Hyd. 248/254 .581/.562 108

In the bigger motor. Solid 272/279 .661/.642 107

wow, i have a 236/244 .590ish 112 LSA, thats in a 396 though and it lopes pretty hard. massive midrange.

on a stock headed stock cube car I ran a 242/250 on a 112 lsa. didnt lope very hard at 1000 rpm idle.

WHat lifters are you using?
they are Lunati part # 72403. I was told they are a little taller which worked better in the block. These lifters are were actually manufactured by Crane before S & S bought them.
