MSD has lots of wiring diagrams and instructions on their website.

they also sell a plug and play harness makes it very simple

Yeap i agree with yall go with the harness.
That harness saved my ***, one time had issues with the MSD box (car did not start) I unplugged the harness and ran it like factory and made it home.

I think i got moisture or water on it and it didnt spark for some reason, but took it home dried it off and it's been fine since.

I have a spare harness if you need one. Bought it new to install my Mallory then figured out I already had one that came with it

I've had that problem too. Water was getting into the magnetic pickup harness and shorting the pins, killing the ignition. Happened every time I washed the car, until I moved the box.

it was worth like .5 hp and 3 ft lbs on my car...
