Will a 93 lt1 speed density engine work in a 94 formula with the original wiring harness. I do have a maf that is replacing the speed density

You will need to use the 94 PCM, change the opti harness, and use the 94 throttle body or change the IAC connector. Other than that I dont see why it wont work. Tune MAY need some tweaking.

You're going to need a 94-95 harness if I remember correctly. Perhaps someone else will chime in.

what is involved in switching harnesses over for the opti spark, or would it be easier to just buy a vented opti

I'm not sure I don't have the original engine. I'm working on finding out if it was vented or non vented

Yes everything is the same including the opti on 93+94, the only thing you will have to change is the TB and the intake the fuel rails are different on a 93. Also 93 had 22lbs injectors and 94-97 had 24lbs injectors so dont get those mixed up.

The 93 engine is complete so if i just change the 22lbs injectors for 24's that should work right? as for the tb can i just change the connector for the iac?
