me to..ive looked at mad mans and jakesz28 that he makes and they just look like a flipped jegs i posted with different bolt lenghts and spacers marked up 100$..there not makeing there belts so you know its a autozone belt an such..easy way to make spacers is copper tubing cut to length and washers on each side.

ok, here is what i am goin to do with my setup, its cheap, and it will work!

use the stock bracket and cut it down for the alt only. this keeps the tensioner in place to do its job.

and my machinist friend made a PS pump bracket, and i used a PS pump off a buick, cheap! but effective! route the belt through and bam!

after alot of measuring and thinking, theres no way out of using a different PS pump, or keeping it on the pass side, unless using the expensive stuff.

i used a proffessional products balancer, a gm opti block off plate, and my machinist used stock heads for a mock up, and he did take some meat off the side of the intake. but with aftermarket heads it wouldve fit fine. heres the area he milled down

Badass info man!! This cleared up a lot for me as I could never see myself breaking down and buying speedinc's kit for $500. (not knocking the kit at all just saying). Does this summit bracket look like it would also work??
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-340110/?rtype=10

Thanks!!
