Default ac delete?

is there a way to get rid of the ac/stuff in the lt1 and keep the heater?

The A/C and heating system share no components whatsoever, so yes. You need an A/C delete pulley and that's about it. Evaporator, lines, compressor, condenser, etc., can all come out while retaining the heat.

If you want, you can also remove the black box from the passenger side of the engine bay with a block-off plate (carried by a few site sponsors) and modify it slightly to still accept the heater core hoses. Remember you don't need to remove the box - just if you want the engine bay to look even cleaner.

That link should have everything you need to know. The dash does have to come out though - some guys don't like that part.

btw i dont have an engine and tranny in the car.. could i just hack open the box without taking it out? is there a good write up out there?
