94 Z
just this past october i bought a 94' Z28, red, all options but leather, 6spd, perfect condition only problem was a fog light out (pain in the *** to change), it has only 40,047 miles on it. i paid 7500$ for it, can anyone tell me if thats about average, or a good deal, or what? i ran past reports on it, it was always servised and tuned at a dealer, and never in an accident. Im just kinda wondering if i couldve gotten better had i waited.
thanks
thanks
That price sounds very good for the mileage. Did you buy from a dealer? If you shopped around with more private owners selling, you probably could have found better.
I bought my car last July 8700 with 500 miles on the newly rebuilt motor, with every mod you see in my sig.
But it really depends what your looking for. At the tiem I wanted a highly modified car, but now I regret it and wish that I had bought a stock 98-99 LS1 so I could build up my own car.
You got a pretty good deal, very good if you bought it from a dealership. Don't regret buying it, you'll love

I wouldn't say "rare", but they certainly aren't as common with the LT1 as they are with the LS1. It's something like an average of 19% of all LT1 F-Bodies were made with T-56s, but I don't recall the exact number.
that number of 19% would mean there are more lt-1 6 speeds then ls-1 six speeds if you remember that there were 140,000 fbody's sold in 94, as opposed to the 50,000 in 98 and the 25,000 in 2002. So rare is not the best word to use.
