starting problems???

starting problems??? so I have a 97 z28 and the thing runs smooth and perfect, motor makes no sounds or noises, but after it's been running for a while and you shut it off it doesn't want to crank again until it cools off. I put a new starter on her and the alternator has just been rebuilt so I know it's not the battery or anything... any suggestions?

I turn the key and hold it... it won't make a sound and then slowly turn over until it catches up and then it'll start. just bugs the **** outta me... seems trashy and I don't like my cars to seem trashy
When you say it doesnt want to "crank" again, do you mean like the starter wont turn or anything? Or do you mean it will try and start(crank over) but not fire?
If the latter, replace the ICM. My ICM would let the car run till it warmed up, then it would just die. Replaced it and no issues
