Default Cold idle.

Car is a 93' so it has no MAF.

More and more often recently, when the car is dead cold in the mornings - it has trouble keeping normal idle. it'll drop down to 500 or maybe less and bog a bit unless i manually keep the idle up. Any ideas? O2's are new (ish), however the car is running rich (I think i need a new tune for that problem, however its been running rich for a year and the idle problem is new.)

thanks gentlemen

I am having the same issue with my '93. After the car warms up for a while, it starts just fine. It almost seems like the IAC is sticky or slow when it's dead cold. Anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem when my car is cold too I have to keep my foot on the gas for a little till it idles normal. I think its the tune that I have, It also is running rich. I bought the car like that. Once I'm done with some things that I'm fixing on the car I well be taking the car to slow hawk for a new tune. i hope that fixes the problem. will seee

clean your TB and IAC and see if that helps.

Cool, will do. IAC is connected to the TB, right?

What part of the tune could cause this? The only table I have changed at idle is Closed TPS Spark Advance vs RPM. I raised it to 24 at 400 and 800 RPM and 30 at 1200 RPM. Base timing and fueling are all stock. Has anyone messed with this stuff?
