Default Question on porting my TB

I have been contemplating home porting a throttle body I have laying around to a 52mm. I figure it may help my motor breathe a little better with the cam. Only question I have is, if I port it, will I need to get larger blades to make up for the 4mm difference, of will the difference be too small so I won't have to worry about it?

You need to get the larger blades.

If your doing it by hand I would be worried about not getting the holes perfectly round so the blades seal up correctly when closed .

Ive got a mill and lathe to do it on. That would be a concern though if I was doing it by hand.

If you have a lathe and a mill to do the throttle body just make the 52mm blades.
