Mine where old, brittle, and it had a bend in it.

There's no reason you can't put a valve into the line back there.

The rest for the way it was done was trial and error. The original intent was to attach up in the original 93 location. So the 180* was already purchased to accomplish this. After bending to try and lower the lines done some I realise it could not be accomplished in that fashion. So this is how it turned out. you xould cut it like the later models and just get the corrects fittings for a straight piece. Since the push lock style would not work on ours.
