hey guys,

i tried ordering the lt4 km from 2 sites and they were both back order. i tried to order it like at the beginning of January from summit and they just keep pushing back there expected arrival date. I also tried gm parts direct.

So I'm just wondering if anyone knows for sure any site that has them in stock? or is there a big shortage right now?

 

Have not looked in a while, but they used to be a dime a dozen on ebay. Usually around $40 or so.

OK here is the deal, I just talk to mike Kasser at the WS6 store and he said GM has discontinued them so IF you find one it going to cost you. He said he has 4-5 left so better hurry

 

did you try a dealership? call up a local one, they can search in there computer what other dealerships have in stock. I was looking for LT4 valve covers once and the parts desk guy said a dealership in TN had the PN in stock, I called them up and they had the RH side VC but not the left which PN was 1 digit different lol. worth a shot tho and GM will still only charge $40 somin for it if they have one.

 

yeah maybe ill have to do that, summit has them for like 60 bucks but they just keep pushin the arrival date back and back

 

and **** 109 for the one at ws6 store? thats ridicules but i may have to get one anyway.

 

Uhhhhh.......evens summit still carries them, estimated ship date March 1, 2010 66$. If you are getting a tune you really don't need one.

 

I dont know but maybe because they cant get them

 

I ordered mine for like back in December from summit, first it was like jan 13th theyd have them, then feb 8, now its march 1 so its been like 3 months.

We have 7 left on the shelf. Our normal distributor was out so we had to purchase through another distriobutor at a higher price....so we had to raise the price on them. I'd be surprised if there were only a few places that still has them in stock.

 

I am suprised this didn't happen back in 07 or 08

 

How about your local GM dealer parts department. They should have 'em.
