7k will be the redline. I know that you can make serious power with hyd rollers but I don't mind checking the adjustment if I solid roller will give me more power.
Do you guys think that solid roller won't yield any better results than hydraulic if I don't spin it past 7?

Not sure what would be better. It used to be that even though a hyd. roller would perhaps make the same peak power at a given RPM a solid roller would supply far more torque throughout the entire rpm band. Not sure if that holds true with the combinations that are being produced today.

To me it's not worth the $1000 shaft rockers you "need" with solid lift, better bigger pushrods, lifters and some really good valve springs to make use of a solid lift. GM Hi Tech did an article last year sometime on this with an LSx engine and in a nutshell they went from a 232/234 .595/.598 112lsa hydraulic cam to a solid lift upper 230's/low 240's cam and it did make more peak power obviously from being a bigger cam and wanting more RPM's but peak power increase was only 10-15hp. This is not to say that solid lift sucks but in your application for what your goals are there are much better things that big $$$ can be spent on and keeping the hydraulic setup to make more power.

I personally wouldn't go solid roller unless you are going to rev past 7500rpm.
