I did tell you, multiple times before I started on my car. I didnt say "After I get mine done" meaning I didnt want your help, you went WAY too in depth on that one. Plus I dont really need help until tuesday because of Comp Cams dicking me over and the shop being closed for 2 days. My cam comes in tomorrow and I can start the build Tuesday...THAT is when I need help. The last 2 days have been removal and teardown only...I just set the heads on and fingertightened the bolts to start tightening Tuesday. Its all I COULD do.

The only thing that matters when it is a short block like mine is, is that I have #1 at TDC (which puts #6 at TDC) and then I put my timing chain and cam in at the proper alignment...THOSE are what determine which cylinder is on compression stroke and which isnt...
Am I wrong?? Did I miss something?

Thats what I thought...Badazz threw me off...
When I put the cam in and install the sprockets, I will alighn the dots at 6 cam and 12 crank, which puts the dowel at the 3, and THAT will make #6 the TDC. I also have been told I need to trim some onff of the cam dowel pin because the Comp Cams pin is too lond and will hit the opti...I will measure to make sure but I will cut it to .650 like shbox did according to his site.

you sound like you are butt hurt that he didn't ask you for help and are now trying to make yourself feel better by shitting all over this guys thread gregrob FTL. If I see another thread that turns into a LE vs AI shootout I am going to lose my mind. And for all I know the people that designed his cam are a bunch of retarded hacks but lets wait for some results before we start throwing stones.

Eat a ******* dick JB. Hows that?
You're obviously a retard who can't tell joking when he sees it.
I just don't want him to **** it up again for his sake and the cars. Were good friends in real life so **** off.
I have talked to Lloyd a lot and he's hes helped me with things. He does great work. My recommendation is partly the reason Cory has these heads....

for one no I will not eat a ******* dick...two I am not a retard..and three I am glad to see that you are joking but tone is kind of hard to read online, you are a sensitive guy aren't you...not to mention a little standoff-ish
I guess the thread can continue on as originally intended now that we got that cleared up. I also followed the thread where he did run into a few "problems" in the valvetrain and I hope that does not repeat itself but from the sounds of it, it won't. It should make good power and if it doesn't we can always resort to gregrob's words of wisdom...nitrous
