Looks nice, let us know how it runs.
If the cam is top secret you can give us ballpark figures to calm most of us down a bit, lik eits a 230 ish cam with wide or narrow LS etc.

Just so you ALL know lol.
Gregrob and I are friends. When we were talking **** it was all in good fun. Also for your information, GREGROB and thehammer69 designed my cam...so when he said that about the people who designed it, it was a stab at himself...
Also the ENTIRE reason I WILL NOT release my cam specs is because the individuals who designed it for me PERSONALLY ASKED that I do not release the specs until we see how it performs. I apologize if this bothers you all, but the car will be firing up this week and when it does I will ease your impatience.
As far as the build goes, Gregrob will be coming to the shop tues to help me provided he can get the time off of work and provided Comp Cams quits being ******* RETARDS and sends me my damned cam like they were supposed to do LAST WEEK! If not, I will have to make due.

Day 3!
Ran into a few snags today, but things are still rolling along. I had forgotten a few supplies and we were having trouble getting the crank hub back on so we ran to get some allthread and stuff to try and get it all on.
Also this morning I inspected the timing cover and saw that the seal going aroung the back of the opti was shredded (the horrible oil leak was coming from here) so I popped it out and started making calls to get a new one since my new timing seal set didnt have one........took us forever but finally GM had one...it gets here in the morning but until then I cant put the opti or the WP back on......
Pics of the long block almost ready to go back into the car, and the cleaned up engine bay!
I also tack welded the oil pickup so it wont fall off. A couple close up pics of that!

looks good, although I wish you would've gotten a couple of better photos of the ultra mags. I am kind of on the fence between those and the hi-tech stainless rockers. Can we get some more pictures of the valvetrain??

I didnt get to read these before I worked on my car today so no new pics of the valvetrain till tomorrow...sorry.
I have a BMR STB, but I cant say whether I notice a difference or not...havent had alot of time without one to really tell.
Here are the pics from day 4! All i have left is to install the tranny, driveshaft, alternator, radiator, and set the lash.
Then its on to the Wire Relocation, Fuel Pump Trap Door Mod so I can install my Walbro 255 Pump, and then wiring up my electric water pump and installing the Wideband A/F Ratio Gauge/Monitor. Then I am dont until I get ready to have my 8.8 rear end installed!
By the way, where is the best place to wire the CSR Electric WP?? I have 2 wires, power and ground. I know it needs to come on then I turn the ignition on but it has to be a good spot that wont get hurt if the WP draws amps from it...any suggestions? Also what size fise do they use for theit fusable link?

Haha yeah...My banjo bolts have been giving me issues and I cant find any new ones to put in there......So lately I have been having to seal it up with RTV to stop it from leaking. Anyone know of a place that still sells them?? lol
