At the end of day 1....

Got the tranny out, and the engine was 1 ground wire away from being on an engine stand! I forgot to disconnec1 a ground to my oil pan bolt, so I had it lifted up and almost there before I caught it...the shop closed at 7 though and I ran out of time...

sounds like you are having about as much fun as I am The parts look great especially those lpp's they are a work of art. If I can ever get out of this god forsaken state those will be the first thing the car gets. As I was looking at the parts though I couldn't help but ask what cam is going in and also are you doing the shortblock as we speak? Those looked like stock pistons in the photos?

The bottom is on a fresh rebuild, less then 5K. It is stock internals with a .040 bore. I am not rebuilding that.

My can specs are top secret until I get it going lmao. I am gettign a custom XFI grind from Comp Cams, and as soon as I see how this baby runs I will release the specs lol

I'd rather you not release the specs at this time. Obviously I can't stop you but I make this request as a favor for designing your cam.

Bullshit Calvin, I NEVER said you cant help me. Actually I offered a solution but YOU are the one who acted like you didnt want to just because we couldnt bring YOUR car in to fix the pinion leak!

All I said was that you have to be military to bring a car into the shop because of liability issues so we couldnt work on YOUR car but if you wanted we could wait until my car was done and I could bring yours in as my car and work on it...Your reply was "when your car is done huh? have fun with that..."

I never said you couldnt come help me or that I didnt want you to...

thats bs Cory. I didnt care about working on my car, it took me 20mins to fix my pinion leak even without a lift...

The plan was for me to help and your exact words were "I'LL call you when I get done with MY car"...

You want help you have to ask, not blow me off.

I am looking at the text right now...it says WORD FOR WORD...

"Sorry, was under the car. They wont let your car in, I just talked to em, BUT after I get mine done maybe I can drive yours in and pretend its mine and we can get it fixed"

Where in there did I say I would call you when I finish my car??

Your IMMEDIATE and ONLY reply to that was and I am quoting directly from a text again...

"After you get yours done huh. Alright have fun..."
