Don't think there is one. Could be a track only car, could only rain x amount of times out of the year or the car is in the garage when it rains. Might not be his DD either, could be a weekend car. These are just the things I thought of.

I took my tank out as I never used it and I wanted to clean up that area of the car. Also it is a little less weight I hate the washer fluid streaming off the windshield all over the side windows.

My car never sees rain and I would like to get the front end as light as possible.

Check out my build thread, i have a write up on removing the complete wiper system. BTW, I have driven in heavy rain without wipers...RainX is awesome...although dont recommend it, but if you get stuck, it wasnt unbearable.

If you have a battery terminal puller they work great to pull of the wiper arms. The puller arms sit under the arm and just crank down the center bolt and it will pop right off with no worries of cracking the windshield.

4 snap-thru plugs to remove and it will fall out the bottom. Unplug harness and fluid line first.
