ok...your point being? You didn't buy his kit. His kit is over $700.

These kits won't be for everyone and I knew that when I posted the thread. Some may be happy with just a HID kit in stock or conversion housings but the poor results speak for themselves.

Honestly, I could put out a poor quality product but I don't think you would want to modify your cars permanently or have other performance issues.

I own a 97 Bird myself and I've done every single step in lighting for this car from halogen upgrades to what I have now. I can't tell you how much I spent just getting to that point. Nothing compares to the lighting I have now and if it's not for you then no hard feelings and I understand.

For those truly interested in having the best lighting setup for these cars and have some exclusivity, this is what may be available.

If you think the breathless kit will perform like these....try and find some shots of the output.

Thank you for the comments. Good or bad.

I don't doubt your kit is one of the best out there, I'd just rather spend that kind of money elsewhere...They look nice, but at the same time a little too blingy/ricey for my taste.

Absolutely understood and everyone has their preferences. I didn't touch my lights until I did a lot of other things. I simply got tired of not being able to see down the road.

I have much respect for people that contribute to the community. I appreciate what you offer, but my tastes don't require me to have nice headlights (honestly I don't even need headlights). They have they're place and I'm glad that someone is investing in the LT1 community.

I drive my car a lot at night, so I would without a doubt benefit from it. Like I said Ive heard so many bad stories about the ebay kits, so i was waiting for something like this. You get what you pay for

I just use the Silverstar sealed beam halogens. Works for me, and it keeps the stock look.

Take a look at these two items:

Light Housing: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

Bi-Xeon Lights: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

And HEY they look DAMN close to what he has huh?
and a bigger idiot would buy $20 ebay projector housings and think they will last.

That was an example Steve, but like I said my buddies looked pretty damn good, so unless you know him I wouldn't be calling him an idiot

I personally have been looking into Euro-Lighting because I really like their housing for the 4x6's.

My head lamps have always sucked, I wouldn't mind a set up using the Hella H4 housings.
