Question Cutting The Valve Covers

Ive got a quick question i need some help with...Ive got a set of 1.6 comp cam magnum roller rockers and wanted to know if i needed to cut my valve covers for clearance. Ive herd some people have had to cut and others haven't with these rockers. Any help would be great.

Yes you have to cut them to fit the pro magnums. Do a search there are tons of threads about this

Comp Cam Pro mags can be done 2 ways. Cut the Baffles like DHdenney said or take a pair of pliers (not needle nose) and bend the lip on the baffles to go straight up and down and still keep the strength and allows equal clamping load on the head. I bent mine and they fit even better then with the GMPP's

Wait are you talking about the regular magnums that just have the roller tip? Those should fit no problem their not much wider then the stock rockers since their not full rollers

I would think they would fit without any cutting they don't look much wider then the stock ones. Try setting the valve cover on the head and see if it sits down flush
