I just did the adjustments on my strange DA's this weekend. It sucks turning the wrench. Driver side was worse it seemed. I wound up taking a old full size mag lite tube and crushing it slightly in a vise, and using it for a spanner wrench extension lever.

It was a lot of trial and error to get the height to where the car would let me have my jack back from under the car. I measured from the threads from bottom up to locking nut on shocks and have around 3.8 inches on both. I will get pics up also. I notice the car has some rake, but I want to see if clearance will be ok with LT headers. Tip for anybody in future is to compress spring prior to installation and use my measurement for a baseline.

Also are you guys running 300lb springs?

I am running a 275lb spring... I hope I didn't make a mistake by not choosing a 300lb. We shall see.

Not sure, but I think your exhaust will hit before you get there.

Nope you didnt.

I was told by Madman there should not be more than 1.5 inches of rake in the car. Really 1 inch is what he wanted.

I dont want to come down from a nasty launch crunch the headers, or have the wheels nailing the fenders and busting them.

That would suck. Yeah you better keep them on firm and ease back from there.

That hood is sexy! I originally had the wide sunoco that was extended to the windshield, but sold it and got the bolt on harwood.

I will be cutting a coil off tomorrow morning. Should have some pics up tomorrow night after work.

I am going to say I like the rake on your car. Will cutting off rear coils Jack up the stance or ride?

Well I didn't get around to messing with it today, I don't work until 4pm tomorrow so I should be able to get it done. I will eventually end up buying a rear lowering spring, but figured free is good, so cutting a coil can't hurt. I don't think such a minimal change will affect ride quality.
