Default canton

Not with 1.550 springs on the afr heads. Had to adjust the clearance by way of hammer and porting bit - plus they leak.

there's an ear on the back of the alternator you're supposed to grind when having clearancing issues, not sure if this is the case with the cantons

I have 1.6 rockers on stock ported heads and didn't touch a thing...even where the alternator bolts on it cleared fine...

With that said I wonder if the jigs for the covers fluctuate some because some people have had issues with clearance and leaking...other use them with 0 probs....

should be able to use a little bit of percussion persuasion to get things going your way though...

I had to grind the alt and dimple the valve cover to get it to fit. I probably still have some pics on here or CamaroZ28 somewhere.

Beleive it or not, they are not built to clear the pro magnums. We do not change our jigs at all. Half of the people i talk to with leaking issues it is becuase they didnt torque them down properly.

Im glad you guys are all having good luck with them.

Mine didn't clear my 1.7 Pro Mags on the front of the passenger side cover. I little work with a dremel and a hammer solved it. Other than that no issues.
