Default Watts link, LT1, polished aluminum, red powder-coat, updated pics

I have been sitting on this Watts link from (Strano) and (Fays 2) since last summer. I have taken my sweet time about getting all the aluminum pieces, including the propellor polished to perfection ! I'm going to start doing the install in a couple of weeks and then take the car out and put this suspension component through some spirited driving I decided to take some pics of the unit assembled for your enjoyment. It's almost to nice to hide under the car. When I do the install I will make sure to post finished pics and give a review on my impressions. It seems there is very little info on this item, even less info of it installed on a LT1 car.

Here you go, enjoy :

Are you gonna sell the fixed upper support above the PHB? I might be interested.

I will probably sell the upper and lower, but I want to test out the results of the watts link before I commit I'm sure the results will be good, but just need to make sure. Main benefit of the component is the ability to keep the rear suspension centered and planted (basically to correct geometry). There is a great deal of information, but to be honest it seems this is a dark area for feedback on a 4th gen. This is why I want to try the item out and get some real street results. If you want to know all the details you can probably find most of that info from Sam Strano. I will try to post a short review of the part when it is installed later next month.

search the suspension section for watts link, theres some good info in ther.
brief as possible: its as close to an IRS feel as you can get w/o swapping in a IRS rear..

YIKES! I didnt realize the cornering abilities of our suspension setups sucked that bad. Of course I really haven't had the opportunity to test that out either. Once I am done with the Police Academy I am going to go with a watts link I think.(Of course I will test it off road ) HaHa I love small town Montana, half the officers are out there with you tearing up the frontage road.

EDIT: Nice shop floor, I dont know what I am more jealous of. The watts link, your clean undercarriage, or how clean your shop floor is! haha

its not that they suck cornering, its fine if you dont hit a bump its just what happens with any solid axle w/ a panhard bar set up. the watts link works differently and reduces that rear end jump on bumps.
I'll never forget the first & only time I tried speeding thru boston on I93. started hitting the expansion joints outside of the city going 100, rough, slowed to 90, then I got to a bend in the highway and hit an expansion joint and suddenly my rear end is in the other lane fishtails.. slowed down to 60 after that. thank god it was 4am on a sunday and had the highway to myself or I would of hit some one.

Something similar happened with me down in Houston on 45, coming through downtown during the end of rush hour. I was in my 04 Sierra Denali doing about 95mph hit a bump and my rear was clear over in the right lane. Good thing I can drive like the wind because I was able to correct her with out freaking out like my ex gf was. I had to pull over at the next exit so she could
