Depends on what you want done really. "Port and polish" is a subjective term. Any local reputable machine shop should be able to do simple cleanup and the valve job, but if you want full porting seek out AI or LE.

heard nothing but gret things from Advanced Induction and Lloyd Elliot portworks...(AI and LE)

there will be people arguing for which is better, but theyre both very reputable...give them both a call and see what you think...make up yur own mind...

Either is not a bad choice. There are others who who are great at what they do but most people in the LT1 world go with these two for porting.

well considering AI and LE are sponsors of this forum you will only get those two vendors as an option from the peanut gallery. I wouldn't take answers and opinions from the internet as being from the all knowledgeable. There are many out there that can do the work for you, even your local shops. So do your homework call the vendors and talk with them then decide. Remember quality, price, performance, and customer service. You want to feel like you can ask questions and not get attitude. it's your money

There has been good information given in regards to the question. However, the best answer (for the original poster) will be had by using the search function in this forum. The nature of these head porting threads have caused alot of fighting here, so I am going to close this one.

Thank you everyone for being constructive in this thread
