good idea on the cam my 292 might not clear rods also and 12.1 will be free power with a 383 my stock crank is trashed. as soon as it get it running im going to get dyno tuned the tune was extremely rich but i dont think a 12.1 383 will be close to a 10.5 350. i searched and found a 10623 kit from eagle same rods and pistons with 4340 forged crank. of corse im gonna have it rebalanced

i can only find a whole forged kit from scat summit has for 1600 anyone know partnumber for forged scat crank cant afford compstar but can meet in the middle

you dont want a SCAT of Eagle crank. They are ****. They are the only two i have ever heard of breaking.

Glad to see your steering away from the cast Eagle crank. One of my best friends recently trashed his Eagle cast crank in his 383. Car was N/A with under 400rwhp and never saw more than 6300rpm, talk about a piece of garbage. They're customer service is pretty terrible too, completely f-ed him over. I will never buy an Eagle product because of his experience with them.

im leanning on the forged scat kit with 12.1 forged pistons, unless i can muster up enough for thr compstar kit. i think compstar comes with gapless rings and is balanced right in house.

we do a lot of compstar assemblies also, if your interested in that it is only $200 more.
