no need. If that seems high(tho I've some where read 93 can handle 11.25dcr?) then maybe I calculated incorrectly. regardless 11:1 is AI's(and LE on his cams) recommend scr and being milled .010 is only another **** hair of static compression. cam in sig int closes @ 42.7ABDC(@.050) and I'm @ sea level if u want to calculate
You need to calculate your DCR using SEAT IVC instead of ADVERTISED IVC.

I don't know about easy on valvetrain parts but it certainly doesn't beat the hell out of them. The lobe profile is actually pretty nasty on that cam, it has really fast ramp speeds but lets that valve back up fairly easy.

What kind of DCR is to high? Im liking the specs on that lunati 60121 but its looking like ill be getting a DCR of about 9.7:1 with the heads and whatnot i want to use. Is this too high?
Edit: Should mention its a full street car, no track.
Second edit: Does anyone know the stock cam ABDC?

You want to know the real kicker...even if you know the cam card specs, your calculation is still only a approximation of what it really is. The fact is, cams are rarely ground spot on to the book spec. Unless you have your cam put on a cam doctor or similar device, you won't know if your cam grinder ground in more or less advance...or if you didn't get your LSA ground at what you ordered. Or even if your seat duration is larger or smaller than what it is supposed to be.
This is why if I spec a cam for somebody, i require them to pay for an Adcole report. I have returned a cam to Comp because their own Adcole machine reported what was ground for me was significantly out of spec for what I ordered.
And since I am off on a tangent here...Sometimes, out of spec grinding works for you too. Gregbob's cam came different then what we ordered, but it actually worked out better. So we used it and it has worked great in his car.
