ill tell ya what....i dont know brett, but i know of him. this is not the first time ive heard this. he was banned off of ls1hardcore.com for being an *******. i almost sent him some work til i found out how he is. im a soldier myself (DrillSgt for the 98th) and now that i see how he treats a brother of mine while he has boots on ground?, i will warn the world away from him. bro...i hope you get this squared away cuz its bullshit.

Small claims court is hard to do from Iraq lol
i paid the other shops through him but this was at my request. he referred me to Airflow development and airflow development sent my intake to Bret without me knowing. like i said though, even though this wasnt Lloyds fault he was willing to lose money to make me happy. i dont fault him one bit for the problems with this intake.

idk maybe im too nice, even though i wish that the decision had been mine since i paid for it i dont want to go after Dennis because he was just trying to get it to me in a timely manner and he was backed up

I know man...but he made a judgment call and it blew up in his face. The fact is you bought a new intake to be converted and it got screwed up, it certainly isn't YOUR fault, ya know?

intake PER SIDE, just have fun getting the bolts into the head and
tightening them down. I realize this is the first rodeo for you guys
down there doing this because if you don't realize that those bolts do
not work then you have never done this before. Again give me $100 and it
will put those holes in there for you, it's $100 because your wasting my
time and I'm going to be PAID for doing work that is pointless.... but I
will be HAPPY to do it if you want to pay me. If you guys don't believe
me about this lay a LT1 gasket on the flange and then look where the
inner bolt holes go thru... how are you going to get a bolt under the
runner to even get in the bolt hole?
8 bolts is what OEM SBC Vortec motors have.... look at this picture

Here's what ya do bud..
Document all of this, expecially the part about him raising the price cause of someone else that was unrelated to your transaction, and make a report with it all to the BBB..I know you said you got ahold of them already, make sure they get a copy of that email.
Then when you get back go to Legal and see if they can do anything for you..though they may tell you to go to the Police and make a report for fraud or theft by deception..given that it is a civilian matter. I would definately make a report and get in contact with his local police and report it..fry this fool's ***.
Granted when you get home you will be able to settle it faster cause phone calls will be a hell of alot easier. You should be able to e-mail someone from the BBB though.
If worse comes to worse we got plenty of sand to pound on around here for the few weeks..I'll watch ya if it makes ya feel better..

Wow This is just crazy! I work with Lloyd and he has nothing short of the very very best customer service I have ever seen. Im sure he is doing everything he can to help.

This Bret fellow is a complete Asshat and that's pretty bad coming from me. I usual get along with people. Hell from what Ive seen 86formula here has done nothing to warrant this kind of service from this guy.
