The only problem i had with my PP throttle body at first was the blades wouldnt close all the way if the car was hot and then cooled off. It would stick ever so slightly. It took like a 1,000 mile before it went away. I Guess it broke in. Works fine now for the price.

The only other thing i dont like is the return spring is not as strong as a stock one. it makes the pedal feel really light.

I had that issue as well. It sticks and the idle will hold around 1500 RPMs or so, but pump the pedal a couple times it went away and after a few hundred miles it stopped and hasnt done it since. I am happy with the buy!

I've been running mine for almost 2 years now with zero issues. It works alot better than my old $400 Holley POS.

Well the PP 58mm throttle body is the one I planned on buying until pretty much everyone that replied to my thread said that anything over the stock one was pointless unless you are making over 450 RWHP. I guess ya'll all have alot more LT1 experience than me, but I personally saw a consistent, almost completely stock 95 A4 Z28 pick up just over a tenth with only a swap to an Edelbrock/BBK 52mm bought used off Ebay. By almost stock, I mean POS edelbrock shorties, Hooker muffler/tailpipes behind stock 2.75" intermediate, CAT!, and Moroso CAI. Nothing else was changed on the car....yet it picked up over a tenth in the 1/8th mile and this was as the weather got hotter (middle GA spring to summer) and it wasn't a one time thing. The car consistently ran high 8.70's before and then low 8.60's after. The improvement was on every trip to the track from then on.

best TB IMO, very little problems compared to most aftermarket TB and costs like $100 less than the next alternative

Im really ticked off at my purchase of this product. Its stated that this TB is compatible with 85-92. I have an 88 with, I believe, an 89 plenum. Now I cant find any info anywhere on what all differs with both others' type of TBs being that they say 85-88, 89-92. My Professional Products TB does NOT match the bolt holes on my plenum and nobody anywhere has responded to my question about it. If anyone here has a plenum and/or TB and can verify their bolt hole spacing it would be very much appreciated. Ive been having the stuck butterfly issue for over 2k miles for obvious reasons. So I omitted the coolant flow through the tb and twisted the coil around one extra time to increase throttle control when letting off. Its helped but Id really like that fourth bolt to bite. Its ~3/16 offset!

That **** is all Chinese knock offs of products American companies spent a lot of time and money to develop. I've seen their intake manifolds that needed bolt holes slotted to just bolt them down. This sounds harsh, but I think anybody that buys that **** deserves what they get. Those people don't seem to mind that they are stealing from Americans to save a couple of bucks.

@ 1961ba427, thanks for the results feedback. As far as the product quality I have no experience, but looking forward to more feedback on the issue.

If you guys aren't making close to 500 hp a 58mm TB won't make you any faster anyway. That is like putting a Holley Dominator carburetor on a street car. Just a monkey-see-monkey-do Internet thing. 95% of you are wasting your money there. Spend it on something productive.
