Default LT1's?

Do you guys feel like outcasts being stuck on this small section? I'm just curious looking at maybe getting an LT1 or LS1....

I love my Lt1 it is so disrespected by most, yet they are terrific motors! Underdogs ftw!

this one section is more than enough. i mean its ls1tech not lt1tech. but i love my lt1. ls1 guys, mustang guys, vette guys, they all hate loosing to an lt1 because of its reputation. sure it does take a little knowledge to do it right but that just makes it better

I love my LT1 and prefer it to my old LS1, plus it will put the smack down on 90% of the LS1s on here.

I love my LT1, but you can't argue with a better design at resonable costs. That is why I will soon be swapping in a LS3 into my car. A LTx heads would be hard pressed at best to match the air flow of the LS3 heads for the price. R&D over the years will always yeild better result.

In the mean time I love seeing the surprise on other peoples faces when they find out that I am not spraying, it's just a cam-only LT1.

I'm relatively new to this specific forum but do not feel like an outcast at all. This side gets pretty good traffic.

Do I look the look of a 98-02 WS6 over my 97 WS6? Yeah. Would I regret selling my first baby that I can build for pretty damn cheap? Hell yeah.

Thats how I think of it. My car was my first real car that had a sense of *****. I have grown too attached to her to ever want to part ways.

You will meet a lot of great guys in this section. Some that you don't care for are easily outmatched by how many good guys you'll meet and get advice from

To each is their own. I like the 98-02 WS6 look better for Trans Ams but for Camaros I like the 93-97 Look better

Well Ive owned a 98 ws6(black) my current 95 Formula(ws6 formula look-a-like), a silver 95 formula stock looking, and a 95 z28 purple. I think my 95 Formy looks just as good as my ws6...

No real outcast feeling, were all in the f-body family. Any car can be made fast just takes time and money. Most people who badmouth LT1s have either never owned one or are a 16 year old kid. We don't have it as bad as many people think or say.

Lt1's are very strong motors they can take alot of abuse i love my barney LT1 lt1's are TORQUE-IER than ls1's
