Default Where to Jack on an engine

Changing motor mount where is a safe place to Jack on the engine?

put a 2x4 on the jack and use the oil pan

The oil pan is safe to Jack on And won't dent in ?

As long as you displace the weight properly by using a 2X4 that goes over each side of the pan then you will be fine.

M6 or A4? If it's an M6 you can jack on the bellhousing.

the oil pan will be fine man. jusy make sure u have a 2x4 that is wider then the pan. trust us on this one
